One founder, one goal, and a promotion built from the ground up to give St. Louis pro wrestling something better.

How It Started

One Guy Who Just Wanted To Wrestle

Pro Wrestling Epic was founded by Lenny Mephisto with one simple goal: to wrestle. That goal quickly grew into something bigger — a mission to put on wrestling that didn't suck, and to give younger talent a real shot at becoming stars in a scene that had grown complacent.

Today, Lenny wears more hats than he ever expected: booker, promoter, wrestler, marketing director, talent manager, and everything in between. It's not a part-time hobby — it's hours on the road, full weekends dedicated to the business, and a constant grind on top of a day job, all because he believes local wrestling deserves better.

Pro Wrestling Epic is proof that you don't need a national TV deal to put on a show worth showing up for. Just hard work, real passion, and a promoter who refuses to settle for "good enough."

Meet Lenny

The Man Behind Epic

I’ve been a wrestler for 22 years — I had my first match in October 2004.

The first 12 years I worked for just about everyone you can work for on this level at one time or another.

I’ve been beat with chairs, I’ve wrestled on thumbtacks and glass, I’ve even been thrown on a bed of nails.

I’ve wrestled in front of 3 people. I’ve wrestled in front of 8 thousand people.

I have held championships in many promotions.

There’s no greater honor I could ask for at this stage in my career than having my last match at the beautiful and historical Chase Park Plaza on March 6th, 2027.
